AUSTIN, TX -- The City of Austin announced the imminent roll-out of its eagerly anticipated One-Stop-Shop city planning website and portal.

City leaders had already gathered the 13 different departments related to building processes and management into one physical building.

The online site will automate current paper processes and allow its inspectors to report inspection status directly from the field in real time.  Developers and other users will be able to track the status of applications, city permits and inspections over the web.
